Initial Requirements

Welcome to MCB Islamic Bank Digital Onboarding Portal. For a seamless account opening journey make sure the following prerequisites are met:

• You must be a Pakistani Citizen, Resident and must have a valid Identity document (CNIC/SNIC).
• Mobile number must be registered/ issued against your CNIC Number.
• Signatures must be firm and as per CNIC with blue ink on plain white paper.
• Income Proof / Declaration, Valid Job Letter / Salary Slip must be available.
• A valid Email will be required for completing the digital account opening process.

The bank prioritizes the security of your personal details and safeguards them with strict information security measures. We confirm that all information and documentation provided during the onboarding process will remain strictly confidential and will not be disclosed.

Important Information

1. Please ensure to use camera enabled device during onboarding journey. Your Photograph/ Video call session(s) may be recorded for bank use.
2. Please ensure to allow permission on computer for use of Location and Camera.
3. Please make sure that no VPN service is being used at the time of account opening as the bank needs to collect geo-location coordinates, otherwise the application will not be accepted.
4. Bank may perform and record video call for KYC for high risk customers, as and when necessary, in order to complete the account opening process.
5. As per regulatory directives, if you already maintain an Asaan Account or Asaan Remittance Account, either digitally or through branches, you are not eligible to open an additional Regular or Asaan Account.
6. Bank reserves the right to approve or reject an application in line with MCB Islamic Bank's internal policies, SBP's Prudential Regulations and AML/CFT/CPF Regulations.
7. Bank reserves the right to reject your account opening request if your SIM ownership and CNIC validity is mismatched.
8. Cash must only be deposited at the Bank's designated counter, the receipt of which shall be evidenced through Bank's validated Deposit Slip handed over to the depositor of cash, otherwise the Bank shall not be liable if the cash is handed over to any other person who is or represents himself/herself to be the employee of the Bank.
